Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using any service provided by ClassHelpr ("we," "us," or "our") at classhelpr.com, including ClassFormr and any future tools we offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We may offer additional tools and services under the ClassHelpr platform over time. Your continued use of any ClassHelpr service constitutes acceptance of these Terms as they apply to that service.
Description of Services
ClassHelpr provides AI-powered productivity tools for K–12 educators. Our current services include:
ClassFormr: Transforms educational content (documents, files, URLs) into Google Forms quizzes and other assessment formats using artificial intelligence.
Additional tools may be added to the ClassHelpr platform. Each new tool will be subject to these same Terms unless otherwise stated.
Accounts and Authentication
You sign in to ClassHelpr using your Google account via OAuth. By signing in, you:
- Confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Grant us permission to access the Google account information and services (such as Google Drive and Google Forms) required to provide our tools, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Agree to keep your Google account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use ClassHelpr services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use our services to generate assessments intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with our services without our written consent.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to our services without our written consent.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of any content you upload to ClassHelpr (documents, files, images, URLs). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the service you requested (such as generating quiz questions).
We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content to train AI models. Your uploaded content is processed transiently and is not stored permanently on our servers.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and upload any content you provide to our services.
AI-Generated Content
Our tools use artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions, assessments, and other educational content. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it with students.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated output for any specific educational context.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any content you use in your classroom meets your school or district's standards and policies.
Google API Services
ClassHelpr integrates with Google APIs to provide its services. By using our tools, you also agree to be bound by Google's Terms of Service. Our use of Google API data is governed by our Privacy Policy and complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke ClassHelpr's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page.
Intellectual Property
The ClassHelpr platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by ClassHelpr and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
You retain ownership of your uploaded content and any content generated from your materials.
Disclaimers
ClassHelpr services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- Our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.
- Our services will meet specific educational standards or requirements in your jurisdiction.
- Defects in the service will be corrected within any particular timeframe.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClassHelpr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use our services.
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Any third-party conduct on or related to our services.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Free and Paid Services
ClassHelpr currently offers free access to its tools. We may introduce paid subscription tiers in the future. If we do:
- Free tier functionality may be limited compared to paid tiers.
- Paid subscriptions will be governed by additional terms provided at the time of purchase.
- We will provide reasonable notice before any changes that affect your access to currently free features.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by email or an in-app notice).
Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using our services at any time. You can revoke our access to your Google account through your Google Account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, or discontinuation of the service.
Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Content already exported to your Google Drive remains yours.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Alberta, Canada.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
